. . how it started . .

When did it first started??

Hmm.. let's see, when did Autumn Tales started showing in Singapore?? 2002 I think? I can't really recall. Nope, that really wasn't the exact time when I started this addiction, it was only the time I started taking notice of Kdramas as it was the first Korean drama to be shown in SG, if I'm not wrong. I did tried to catch an episode or two, but coz my TV doesn't have the dual sound function and I totally dislike dubbing as I preferred the original audio despite the language and chinese subtitles, I gave it a go. Never really participate in the discussion among my friends about this show as well since I didn't watch. The hot fav guy and gal then was SSH and SHG but I wasn't into them. Well, I missed a good period where Kdrama was hot. And yes, it was only much later when I stepped into this 'world', but better late than never.

Oh wait, I just remembered that I have watched "Beautiful Life" by LBH and CJW (every Tuesday and Wednesday evening)and also "Soo Ho Chun Sah (Guardian Angel)" by SHG (every Sunday morning 11.00am). As much as I think both is really nice and I tried to make it a point to watch it, it was just a hi-bye thing for me then. I tried renting a drama, can't remember the title but I think it starred SSH since he was the only actor I knew in the K-scene. I didn't complete it. Not sure why, I just can't force myself to watch it. So when I returned, I didn't think I would borrow any kdrama from then on. Not until one day, my colleague, Claudine decided to lend me her Kdramas.

The first one I borrowed was "All In" which she said it is very nice. Somemore, it starred LBH and SHG. Well, it totally blew me off and since I don't have to wait weekly for an episode to be aired, I completed that drama within days, whereby I stayed till the wee hours, only to woke up 1 to 2 hours later to work. Yep, since then, I've suffered from the syndromes that most kdrama fans encountered, one of which, dark circles. Love that show so much since it contains dual sound, I bought it from Claudine and was really into LBH. The happiest thing every obsessed kdrama fans love is that the main characters who were lovers in dramas, became real lovers in real life. So that was exactly what happened to LBH and SHG! Well, as we all know by now, they have since separated but moving on well with their own lives. Shan't elaborate further for now though, else this will entry will never end!

Anyways, I can't remember which comes first, "Hotelier" or "Winter Sonata", I think it's Winter Sonata which Fion lent me if I remember correctly. I tell you.. I am totally blown over upside down even till today, by that show. Yes, I was really really late when I became obsessed in that show because "Winter Sonata" was shown in TV and it blew a big tornado in SG, and I didn't even know about it until much later!! Stupid me! Bae Yong Joon, the main guy in Winter Sonata, totally had me with that gorgeous smile, he became my most obsessed actor in my life history. Did so many silly things over him, which you can read from my blog, www.luvjoon.blogspot.com. Yes, a blog just for him and everything about him. Shan't elaborate further for now also, go read up my blog and you will get what I mean.

Anyways, it will never end for this entry if I typed further. Maybe I'll break it up into parts which will be easier to read. I just want to thank whoever started the Korean Wave in SG, which I think is the then U-Channel. Thank you for bringing such entertainment joy to Singapore!

. . first post . .

Crazily, I've created so many blogs in almost anything that I'm totally in to, how can I not create one more of my interest in Kdramas?

Each time I completed a Kdrama, I will usually be so engrossed into finding more information of that drama until another drama sweep me off my feet. But these information usually just come and go and when one day I want to find those info again, I couldn't locate them.

So, this place, will just be a one-stop station for everything that I've researched on any Korean dramas.

The end.
